Its not that hard...use a floor jack to hold the swing-arm in place with the rest of the quad frame up on regular jacks. I think Nyroc's site has the complete instructions. Worst part is trying to get the 2 large swing arm bolts loose...I used a long cheater bar b/c I don't have an impact wrench. Also, I found that a 1" socket and a long breaker bar can be used to punch out the races from the inside of the swingarm...you'll see what I mean after you get it apart.

Good luck and happy trails...:)

mikeyboy is right, it is not that difficult. try putting the bearing in the freezer the night before that might make them go in easier, so i have been told. if you look on highlifter or on here maybe, KISSOFDEATH's website is great. it has photos and he shows you step by step. good luck.

Changing them is not really hard. The hardest part is getting the races out of the swingarm, at least that was the hardest part for me. It is time consuming though.

My website is down at the moment. I believe my motherboard is kicked the bucket. I should have a replacement in and back up and running by Sunday night or Monday.

Easy way to get the races out. If you have access to a welding machine or know a welder, run a bead of weld on the face of the race and hit it with some water. It will fall right out of there like nothing. Use a socket that is slightly smaller than the race to pound the new ones in. There are a bunch of different systems to seal the swingarm so you don't get water in the bearings from the backside. I believe there are a couple threads on the subject in this forum. There's a good thread on Nyroc's forum on sealing the swingarm.

I plug the through tunnel with 34mm block freezeplugs and pack the cavity with marine grease and then it will even pack the new brg when you put it in, Nyroc has the poop on this he recorded what I posted and others so double check, I kind of forget on the size exactly of the plug but that also keeps the fragments out of the tunnel next time around ....if you yank the input shaft out of the rear end the brg rollers can get in the rear diff ...you dont want that ,so go to nyrocs site for more details and the guys on here are right its not a bad deal at all and we all will have to do this one time or another..jh
